Frankie Poon is a graduate member of ACCA with over 30 years of experience in business development and risk management. He began his career in the late 1980s as a life insurance agent and later founded and operated offshore insurance and reinsurance entities.

Specialising in captive insurance, Frankie brings deep expertise in evaluating, designing, and managing customised captive structures for complex risk financing needs. His work spans regulatory compliance, captive formation, alternative risk transfer solutions, and reinsurance strategies. As a recognised leader in Southeast Asia, he drives innovative risk-financing approaches that help organisations optimise capital, strengthen risk control, and unlock long-term strategic value.
